Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground Expansion

The Atlanta United Training Ground Expansion is a 20,000-square-foot, $24 million project that nearly doubles the club’s existing home base and enhances player performance, development, and media capabilities.

The expansion allows portions of the existing facility to be reconfigured to support first-team player health and wellness, including dedicated spaces for recovery, environmental adaptation, and cognitive training. Improvements also include renovations to the Truist Pavilion’s second-floor flex space and upgrades to first-floor locker rooms to meet professional standards.

Approximately 4,000 square feet is dedicated to Atlanta United 2 and the club’s five academy teams, providing a gym, locker rooms, and support space for more than 20 staff members. The academy also includes a dedicated classroom for educational staff and youth players pursuing high school diplomas through Atlanta United’s academic partner, Atlanta International School.

The project also expands Atlanta United’s content and media capabilities with two digital content studios, a podcast studio, an esports studio, and a press conference room with workspace for external media.
