Senior Director
With 30 years of project management experience, Paul Schendl has worked on some of the most high-profile and impactful projects in the Southeast. From the 1996 Olympics and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to technology-driven projects across Georgia Tech’s campus and Mercedes Benz Stadium, he thoroughly understands the entire development process — from back-of-the-napkin ideas to facility dedication. Paul knows that even if you’re applying tried and true methodology, each project has its own needs, nuances, and obstacles.
Detailed and process-driven, he is a mastermind with project schedules and controls, uncovering efficiencies and providing accountability for all consultants. With an ability to see the broader picture as well as the pixels that comprise it, Paul determines the incremental steps to move a project from Point A to Point B, ultimately benefitting the entire project team. He is often considered an extension of his client’s staff, spearheading project controls and lending strategic direction.
At IMPACT, Paul supports the team through mentorship, educating our project managers on best practices and lessons learned. Applying hard-earned principles from prior planning, integration, phasing, and project management experience, he is adept at working with multiple stakeholders to determine budget and schedule, creating consensus to deliver projects successfully.
He earned an MBA from Emory University and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech.
