With projects that involve multiple client stakeholders in addition to the design and consultant teams and construction manager and subcontractor firms, coming to program management with a united approach is essential to a project’s success. We have found Impact’s approach to be collaborative and supportive of finding the best solutions to project challenges.

With all of the moving components of complex projects, it is reassuring to work with a program manager proficient in facilitating decisions and keeping a project moving forward to maintain the overall project schedule objectives.

Kennesaw State University Howell Hall

Renovation

This existing 4.5-story student housing complex on Kennesaw State University’s Marietta Campus contains 141 rooms (281 beds) in a traditional dormitory configuration. The Howell Hall project included an interior refresh, significant renovation to address HVAC and air quality control issues, and various building envelope components, including replacing the roof and existing windows.

In addition to significant gains in energy efficiency, students now have access to modernized living quarters, state-of-the-art lounges and study spaces on each floor, and an updated kitchenette. With more than 170 card reader electronic locks, Howell Hall also becomes KSU’s first 100 percent electronic access building.
This project also met the Georgia Peach  Certification requirements.
