Women Who Lead

Laura Leigh Barrett passes CMAA South Atlantic presidency to Nicole Prettyman

This past month, our own Laura Leigh Barrett passed the torch of her CMAA South Atlantic Chapter presidency over to Nicole Prettyman, another IMPACT employee who is passionate about the organization and the opportunity to lead.

“I’m excited to continue to build on the foundation of teamwork and collaboration that Laura Leigh worked hard to create”, says Nicole.

When reflecting on her time with CMAA, Laura Leigh shared how she grew both personally and professionally, stating, “CMAA allowed me the opportunity to grow in my leadership skills, as well as cultivate my passion towards philanthropy. Working with the CMAA team, we were able to create more ways for the organization to be involved in the community.”

With Laura Leigh’s help, CMAA became partnered with local service organizations including PAWS Atlanta, Atlanta Mission, ATL Feed the Hungry, and Must Ministries.

“I admire how Barrett pushed for a bigger philanthropic branch during her presidency,” states Nicole, “I am hoping to continue this spirit of service.”

As one steps back, and the other forward, we are proud of our “A” teamers for their representation and leadership in our industry. Their desire to create positive change is inspiring. Laura Leigh, congrats on an amazing presidency, and Nicole, we are excited to see what the future holds as you step into this exciting role!
