IMPACT’s ability to provide quality services and skills, not just in the overall management of the project, but in providing innovation and experience, did not just impact the cost of our projects but the environment and functionality needed to best accomplish our mission.

Throughout both projects, IMPACT felt like a true partner and integral part of our team. We could always count on them to respond quickly and provide answers to any situation that arises. Their strategic efforts and attention to detail consistently proved to be in the best interest of the project.

I am thankful for the trusted partnership that TK Elevator has with IMPACT. Based on the professionalism and expertise they have provided to us, it is my pleasure to recommend them.

TK Elevator IQC

Innovation & Qualification Center

A $200 million investment, this complex includes the signature test tower and IQC and a Corporate Headquarters (CHQ), occupying four floors of the adjacent Three Ballpark Center building. As TK Elevator’s most significant U.S. endeavor, the project is a critical element of a larger strategic plan to raise its visibility and brand awareness, recruit and retain employees, encourage innovation, improve quality, and deliver cutting-edge transportation technology to its clients. This campus consolidates many functions of TKE, including sales, operations, finance, research and engineering, and testing, to Atlanta, whereas previously, these company operations were spread throughout the country and Canada.

This 420-foot elevator test tower and Innovation and Qualification Center (IQC) is located in a prominent area of Cobb County, within The Battery Atlanta, and adjacent to the interstate. This newly constructed building is 220,000 square feet and has 18 elevator shafts and several training elevators that will be used to test safety and qualifications on several cutting-edge technologies, including high-speed elevators and the TWIN system, which features two elevators operating independently in the same shaft. Atop the test tower are three premium conference and observation levels with 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape.

The facility was designed to support the development of innovative elevator technologies from concept to roll-out, including the qualification process, where government agencies are provided with engineering and testing data that lead to the approval to sell and install those technologies commercially.
