Spanning 33 acres, the $60 million Training Ground boasts a 30,000-square-foot headquarters and six full-sized fields, including three natural grass and three FieldTurf surfaces. Design with sustainability in mind, the facility achieved LEED Silver certification.
Key highlights of the Training Ground include:
- A first team locker room with 22-foot ceilings and 14 elevated windows
- Six Academy locker rooms
- A full-service kitchen and dining room with balcony access
- A showcase pitch with a 2,500-seat stand and a separate viewing pavilion
- State-of-the-art sports science facilities with a double-height gym and two hydrotherapy plunge pools
In addition to hosting open training sessions and tournaments, the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground welcomes visiting national and international clubs. The layout of the site and headquarters supports future growth, fostering an environment where academy players can be inspired and learn from the first team.
