This 54,000-square-foot, three-story Academic Building is the second expansion of GGC’s C1 Academic Building and includes 16 state-of-the-art classrooms, three Dean Suites, their Academic Enhancement Center, and over 90 faculty offices. The new building is physically separated from the original C1 building but linked by a two-level connector on the first and second levels. The classrooms are outfitted with audio-visual infrastructure for various teaching methods, providing flexibility for professors and the types of classes that can be taught in each room. Mechanical and electrical systems are designed to reduce operational and maintenance costs initially and long-term.
