Seeking Long-term Partnerships, Not Projects

Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital │ Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Orthopedic and Spine Pavilion

Since 1991, when St. Joseph’s Hospital, now a part of the Emory Health System, became our first client, they have turned to us to oversee the design and construction of projects of every type and size. Over time, we have added 70 inpatient beds, renovated existing patient floors and rooms, added an ICU, constructed a freestanding Cancer Center and Outpatient Center, added multiple cath labs, operating rooms, imaging technologies, and renovated the majority of the original hospital.

But why do they continue to rely on IMPACT to deliver? Our long-term partnership is based on trust and accountability. Hospital’s leadership knows that they can count on us to develop detailed project plans, communicate them to physicians and staff, and execute them safely and efficiently. Each one of the more than 100 individual projects we have managed was delivered within the approved budget and the agreed-upon timeline. Achieving these results time and time again has led to greater trust and responsibility as they have come to expect a superior level of care and service. And, our collaborative efforts continue to pay off. Most recently, we oversaw the design and construction of an Orthopedic and Spine Pavilion – an extremely complex assignment that resulted in another great success story. This leads us to ask – what if they had never taken a chance on us 25 years ago? In hindsight, we bet they are glad they did.
