MATT DALE

Executive Vice President

Entrusted time and time again to oversee billion-dollar construction programs, Matt Dale is a skilled and formally trained project management professional. Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a minor in Economics from the University of London, he entered the workforce as a project manager with one of the nation’s largest contracting firms. There, he traveled along the east coast, managing the construction for technically complex facilities like data centers, mission-critical, and private development projects – even working on a Department of Defense facility in Washington, DC  Later, recruited as a member of PwC’s Capital Projects Group, Matt specialized in advising clients in the areas of project management, controls, and risk mitigation for projects $1 billion and larger.

Well-versed in all areas of the building process, Matt accepted a position in 2013 with IMPACT as an Owner’s Representative on Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta United’s Training Ground, and demolition of the Georgia Dome. Then in 2018, he took on a new challenge as he and his business partners purchased IMPACT, growing its staff and clients tenfold.

Today, he influences our firm’s success by overseeing many complex programs for some of our most sophisticated clients, believing the reward is watching people enjoy what we’ve built. Collaborative by nature, Matt appreciates the importance of building culture and leans on project teams to identify solutions and tackle challenges together. He is a valuable resource for employees, clients, and industry peers, and a true testament to the rewards of hard work and perseverance. His favorite motto: “Finish what you start.”

Matt has recently been granted the honor of being selected as one the Atlanta Business Chronicle‘s 40 Under 40 for 2022.
